Dear Licensees,

On November 30, 2023, there will be an all-day work session meeting to start the process of relocating the Administrative Code from the Department of Insurance’s Code 482 to the Funeral Board’s Code 395 (Rules and Regulations). The meeting will begin at 8:00 a.m. at our board office at 4276 Lomac Street, Montgomery, Alabama 36106.  You are receiving this letter as an official notification of the meeting, but also because of the nature of the meeting.

Because this meeting will be an all-day session, there is only one item set on the agenda, which will be reviewing and proposing amendments to the Administrative Code.  Any other topics in need of board discussions are tabled until the January Quarterly Meeting.

We acknowledge the importance of soliciting input from certificate holders like yourselves and appreciate any feedback you may have to make this an effective and comprehensive work session.  If there is ay feedback you wish to be considered, please submit your suggestions to our office before November 23, 2023, so that we may make sure it is on the agenda.  You may submit you suggestion to the board’s email (info@fsb.alabama.gov).
